Buzwair Gases is proud to announce that our company participated in the MEGA Inaugural Conference as one of the founding members of MEGA since 2008. The conference held in Dubai on 19–20 November 2025.

Why This Conference Matters?

Organized by Middle East Gases Association (MEGA), the conference brings together regional and international industrial gases companies and industry-wide suppliers and customers from across the Middle East and Asia. The mission of MEGA is to elevate safety, environmental, and operational standards in the handling and use of industrial, specialty, medical and food gases, a mission that aligns directly with our company values.

What Took Place at the Event?

Over the two days, attendees engaged in technical sessions, panel discussions and networking events. Topics included safe hydrogen rollout, industrial-gas involvement in CCUS (carbon capture, utilization and storage), medical-gas standards, and the role of specialty gases in powering future industries.
Experts and leaders from worldwide organizations such as Compressed Gas Association (CGA), International Oxygen Manufacturers Association (IOMA), European Industrial Gases Association (EIGA), and other global gas-industry associations shared best practices and global perspectives on safety, environmental compliance, and sustainability.
Spotlight on Speciality Gases in the Medical Field

One of the highlights of our participation was the presentation delivered by Buzwair Speciality Gases Ms. Najwa Nooman, focusing on the vital role of speciality gases in the medical field. During the session Najwa showcased how speciality gases supports critical healthcare applications, including:

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF): demonstrating how precise gas compositions ensure optimal biological conditions.
Respiratory System Testing: explaining how speciality calibration gases play an essential role in ensuring accuracy and reliability in respiratory diagnostic equipment.
