Frank Brunsdon General Manager Buzwair Gases Qatar

Invited to be a speaker at the recent Gasworld Conference held in Dubai December 2019

The speech was mainly focused on Qatar – Surviving and Repositioning Priorities

Frank gave an honest assessment of the competitive market that exists in Qatar today, as well as the wider trends shaping the Qatar market/economy and addressing how local companies can not just survive but thrive.

“How can local companies survive in The Middle East and where are we going for the next ten years and how can we grow”

Frank Proceeded to explain new gas technologies and investment opportunities that Buzwair Gases are currently working on with several European and local universities, investment in the redevelopment of Regional countries, Environmental compliance opportunities and not only staying up-to date with standards and certifications but surpassing our regional competitors with achieving the highest certification in the specialty Gases field. 

BSTG invested in the FTIR gas
analyzer from California Analytical Instrument, CAI USA. This serves as an improvement on the laboratory analysis of EPA-Protocol Gases (Stack Emission Monitoring Gases). With this new analysis technique, the highest accuracy and minimal uncertainties of calibration mixture measurement are achieved.

The European Gases Association (EIGA) Summer session 2019 was held in ST JULIAN’S, Malta from 29th May – 1st June 2019.

During one of the sessions the EIGA Annual General Meeting (AGM) & Safety Awards Reception Dinner was held. During the Safety Award Reception Dinner Buzwair Gases received the Award for lowest lost time accident rate for 2018 in the EIGA companies category 3, this is the third time Buzwair Gases receiving such award from EIGA.

The award was handed over to Buzwair Industrial Gases Factories representative by the EIGA president Mr. Ivo Bols
