Buzwair Industrial Gases Factories – Alkhor Branch was established in 2011 to serve Ras Laffan Industrial City – RLIC and the north of Qatar sector.

The Facility includes three filling stations for Oxygen, Argon, and Nitrogen Gases as well as dedicated storage tanks for all Cryogenic products to ensure a sustained and reliable supply to the area. Moreover, the branch includes the sales of welding and cutting consumables and accessories to serve all steel fabrication and maintenance requirements.

Our Proximity to our clients in Ras Laffan and north sector plays a significant role in our customer service between Buzwair and our customers; this is due to the swift responses and consistent delivery plans which make us the first Choice in the Ras Laffan industrial city.

GHS – Gulf Helium Services

Gulf Helium Services (GHS) was established on 2013 as a Qatari Joint Venture Company with the collaboration of Buzwair Industrial Gases Factories, Iwatani Corporation and LNG Japan.

GHS is the first company with filling and distributing facilities for Helium in Qatar and has the capability to offer these services to any operators/off-takers of Helium.

  • Helium Gas Quads – 64, 48, 16 & 12 Cylinders up to 300 Bar pressure and ultra high purity of Grade 6.0 (99.9999%)
  • Balloon Grade Helium – 50 L, 40 L, 20 L & 10 L Cylinder
  • Deep sea diving Heliox up to 300 bar – 50 L Cylinder
    Welding Tri-Mixtures – 50 L Cylinder
  • Filling Gas Capability : 800,000 m3 / year
  • Filling Liquid Capability: 792,000 Liters / year

Cryogenic ISO Container Maintenance and Periodic Inspection (DOT/UN/CSC)

  • Maintenance of 40 feet ISO Containers
    • Servicing and replacement of all valves, rupture
      disc, flow meter and regulator etc.
    • Inspection and calibration of safety relief valves,
      pressure & level gauges, pressure control valves,
      etc.
    • Refurbishment of container structure, periodic pressure test of DOT -5 years & UN/CSC -2.5 years
    • Container painting and re-signage (Blasting and
      whole painting, touch-up)

Transportation

  • GHS has the capability to
    • Transport Helium containers from Ras Laffan to overseas markets, via Hamad port Qatar, by container vessels.
    • Transport and distribute Liquid and Gas
      Helium by ISO containers, Dewars, cylinders and tube trailers throughout the State of Qatar and MENA.

Cryogenic and Air Gases Production

Buzwair Industrial Gases Factories established in 1954 and has the capability to produce cryogenic liquid Oxygen, Argon, Nitrogen from two independent Air Separation plants .The two plants produce 150 tons of liquid gases per day, our storage capacity is 2.0 million liters on site. Product can be delivered by Buzwair fleet of cryogenic road tankers.

Buzwair Air separation plant is an ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certified company which follows ISO standards for Quality, Safety and Environment Management System.

Buzwair Carbon Dioxide Plant

Buzwair CO2 Plant, established on 2009 manufactures and supplies Food and Industrial Grade CO2 up to the purity of 99.97%. The plant production capacity is 24 tons per day and it has two storage tanks with capacity of 200 tons.

Buzwair CO2 Plant is an ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certified company which follows ISO standards for Quality, Safety and Environment Management System. Our CO2 is annually tested and certified as beverage grade according to ISBT (International Society of Beverage Technologists) by a third party analytical laboratory.

Buzwair Scientific & Technical Gases (BSTG) division was established in 2009 due to increasing demand in specialty gases in the region. The facility was commissioned to produce primary and certified standard Specialty Gas mixtures which are made gravimetrically for applications of analysis including calibration and detection.

BSTG is an established gas company with Specialty Gases operations in Qatar, we are proud of our competence and production capability to meet the most appropriate purity and accuracy for any pure gases and mixtures. We produce gases with specifications down to part per million.

Safety is of uppermost concern not only to the employees but also for our customers. With every delivery of gases, a Safety Data Sheet is accompanied. This is to ensure familiarization of operators on potential hazards and how to work safely with chemical products.

An automated Safety Data Sheet authoring system that specifically addresses the gas classification compliance requirements of Globally Harmonized System is being used that enables us to create SDS reports. The computer program complies with the latest European Industrial Gases Association standards, as well as with current European Union regulations based on ISO 11014.
