Fire Suppression System Gas Mixtures

Gas Name : Inergen

Inergen is a mixture of three gases, typical composition of this mixture is 52% Nitrogen, 40% Argon and 8% Carbon Dioxide. Inergen consists of two atmospheric gases thus it has neither harm the environment nor to human.

Buzwair Gases has the capability to refill and certify the Inergen cylinders up to 300 bar pressure, using our gravimetric filling procedure, Buzwair accredited laboratory can certify up to 5% accuracy.

When the Inergen gas is discharged in a room it should modify the air composition to the level which extinguishes fire by lowering the oxygen content below the level that supports combustion. At the same time the presence of CO2 in the correct concentration will increase a person’s respiration rate in a reduced Oxygen atmosphere, the CO2 will increase human body ability to absorb Oxygen.
