QATARAT – A Qatar Company bottling mineral water with a brand name QATARAT. Extending their production product range to CSD Carbonated Soft Drink which requires food grade 99.97% Purity carbon dioxide. Buzwair Gases recently signed a 5 year gas supply agreement to install a 10 ton capacity vertical liquid cryogenic tank for liquid Carbon Dioxide and continua’s uninterrupted supply of CO2.
A 250 cubic meters per hour ambient vaporizer has been installed to convert the liquid carbon dioxide to a gaseous phase and piped to the customers production bottling plant.
The installation also includes the complete reticulation pipeline. Buzwair Gases has its own production facility of carbon dioxide with food-grade purity of >99.97% certified by AAL-Atlantic Analytical Laboratory USA.
Frank Brunsdon General Manager Buzwair Gases Qatar
Invited to be a speaker at the recent Gasworld Conference held in Dubai December 2019
The speech was mainly focused on Qatar – Surviving and Repositioning Priorities
Frank gave an honest assessment of the competitive market that exists in Qatar today, as well as the wider trends shaping the Qatar market/economy and addressing how local companies can not just survive but thrive.
“How can local companies survive in The Middle East and where are we going for the next ten years and how can we grow”
Frank Proceeded to explain new gas technologies and investment opportunities that Buzwair Gases are currently working on with several European and local universities, investment in the redevelopment of Regional countries, Environmental compliance opportunities and not only staying up-to date with standards and certifications but surpassing our regional competitors with achieving the highest certification in the specialty Gases field.
BSTG invested in the FTIR gas
analyzer from California Analytical Instrument, CAI USA. This serves as an improvement on the laboratory analysis of EPA-Protocol Gases (Stack Emission Monitoring Gases). With this new analysis technique, the highest accuracy and minimal uncertainties of calibration mixture measurement are achieved.

The European Gases Association (EIGA) Summer session 2019 was held in ST JULIAN’S, Malta from 29th May – 1st June 2019. During one of the sessions the EIGA Annual General Meeting (AGM) & Safety Awards Reception Dinner was held. During the Safety Award Reception Dinner Buzwair Gases received the Award for lowest lost time accident rate for 2018 in the EIGA companies category 3, this is the third time Buzwair Gases receiving such award from EIGA.
The award was handed over to Buzwair Industrial Gases Factories representative by the EIGA president Mr. Ivo Bols
Buzwair Gases offers different MAP Gas Mixtures which are used in food preservation technique to extend the shelf life of food by modifying the composition of the internal atmosphere of a package.
The advantages of using MAP Gas includes Increase the shelf life of perishable food, Preserves the taste, vitamin and fat content, Preservation of the natural color and odor and Usage of preservatives is reduced, if not eliminated
Chemical and Physical properties :
Colorless, Odorless and Non-Flammable
Source of the Gas :
The gas mixture is composed of three or two main natural gases depending on applications requirements
Uses of Gases by Industry :
Gas Mixture of Nitrogen 70%, Carbon dioxide 30% is used for preservation of Dry Food, Bread and Pastries.
Gas Mixture of Oxygen 6%, Carbon dioxide 14%, Nitrogen balance is used for preservation of Salads, Fish and Poultry.
Gas mixture of Oxygen 2-4% Nitrogen balance is used for preservation of Fresh Fruits, Fresh Vegetables and Oily / Fatty Food.
Gas Mixture of CO2 30%, Oxygen Balance is used for preservation of Red Meat.
Our Options to Supply :
Single cylinders ranging from 5 liters – 50 liters water capacity with standard valve connections.
Cylinders quads/racks from 4 cylinders combinations up to 64 cylinders interconnected with a manifold system.
Inergen is a mixture of three gases, typical composition of this mixture is 52% Nitrogen, 40% Argon and 8% Carbon Dioxide. Inergen consists of two atmospheric gases thus it has neither harm the environment nor to human.
Buzwair Gases has the capability to refill and certify the Inergen cylinders up to 300 bar pressure, using our gravimetric filling procedure, Buzwair accredited laboratory can certify up to 5% accuracy.
When the Inergen gas is discharged in a room it should modify the air composition to the level which extinguishes fire by lowering the oxygen content below the level that supports combustion. At the same time the presence of CO2 in the correct concentration will increase a person’s respiration rate in a reduced Oxygen atmosphere, the CO2 will increase human body ability to absorb Oxygen.
The gas is consisting of a mixture of three gases (Nitrogen, Argon and Carbon Dioxide)
Uses of Gases by Industry :
Inergen is one of the Fire Extinguishing agent utilizing the inerting capabilities of this mix
Inergen is used to supply the fire suppression system for class A, B, and C fires.
Our Options to Supply :
Buzwair Gases has ability to refill customer owned cylinders which will complies with international cylinders manufacturing standard, our experienced filling team are well trained to handle the different types of Inergen cylinders valves.
We are Capable of refilling the cylinders from different sizes up to required filling pressure 150, 200, and 300 bar.
Can be used as an analgesic and adjunct to anesthesia and use as an intravenous anesthetic. It allows much lower dosage of the other anesthetic agents and quick induction time.
Our options to supply
Compressed gas in cylinders with standard valves connections.
